The Credit Unions Online credit union directory was first launched in 1995 as an online resource as part of the corporate website of CommonBond. Credit Unions Online began as an experiment for learning database connectivity to web pages and ended up becoming a source of information on credit unions free to all. By 1997, 20 years after CommonBond formed, Credit Unions Online's popularity led to moving the directory to its own dedicated website. Only a little while later, NCUA and CUNA employees were requesting copies of our database, due to its accuracy. We are a continual source of data for university research.

Credit Unions Online began publishing credit union news in 2010. We also offer credit union job listings and financial calculators - all at no cost. The Credit Unions Online Interest Rate Index is coming soon. You will be able to search by region, state, zip code, or county, to find the average credit union rates, as well as the lowest credit union rate nearest you - including a link to the credit union's website so you can apply! With no cost to you or the credit union! Just another way we can spread the credit union difference.
