While we will be happy to obtain information from you to open your membership, we will need to make a copy of your photo identification and your actual signature prior to activating your account. You will also need at least $26 to open your savings account ($25 minimum balance and $1 membership fee).

To open your account, we will need the following for each person who will be an owner of the account:

Valid state-issued photo ID (such as driver license)
UAH Charger Card or UA Action Card, if a UAH or UA student
Social Security number or tax ID number


International Persons

If you are an international person, we will need the following for each owner of the account before we can open an account for you:

Valid passport
Valid visa
Current UAH Charger Card, UA Action Card, or MBUSI Team Member badge
Tax ID number (or Social Security number) or W8-BEN and signed letter from UAH, UA or MBUSI that states you do not qualify for a tax ID or Social Security number
