Assistant Branch Manager - Cedar Hill

Primary Responsibilities

This individual is responsible for assisting the Manager in the operation of the Branch and satisfying members’ financial needs in the following areas while meeting individual, department and organization goals: assists the Branch Manager in all duties including but not limited to, supervising and training personnel; performs random audits for accuracy in the Teller Services and Financial Services areas; responsible for the continued monitoring of the daily cash usage and the daily member count for each Teller; balances the vault and other general ledger accounts; supports business development efforts through active participation in community and credit union events; refers members to other services other than the one requested; balances Teller over/short records; handles cash shipment orders when needed; handles member related problems by phone, mail or in person; assists members with any requests for service as needed in Teller Services and Financial Services; responsible for all teller loses including teller over/shorts, cash balancing, and teller check cashing fraud; performs any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.

Desired Job Experience

At least two (2) years of college with emphasis in Finance, Business, or Management; or two (2) years experience with a financial institution with emphasis in cash operations and financial services. Preferred one year experience in supervision. Must have general knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office software.

AVP - Project Management

Primary Responsibilities

Desired Job Experience

Project management certification, such as PMP or MPM, or college degree in project management, preferably graduate level, required. Five years experience in project management required. Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages preferred. Credit Union or financial institution experience preferred. Proficient in PC software (i.e., MS Office, Windows, etc).

Account Specialist (Collector)

Primary Responsibilities

This individual is primarily responsible the collection efforts on accounts that are delinquent more than 16 days in the following areas while meeting individual, department and organization goals: responsible for in-house assigned delinquent accounts according to collection procedures and credit union policies; skip and track down debtors to extract payments or promises to pay; assist with the collection efforts on delinquent credit cards; arrange and monitor check by phone payments; counsel and assist members in person and on the telephone with collection items, questions and problems; contact each assigned account by telephone or by correspondence to obtain a commitment for payment; responsible for collecting any remaining deficiency and foreclosure balances; monitor Collateral Protection Insurance for timely, accurate postings of proof of insurance and posting refunds on assigned accounts; assist the Repossession/Bankruptcy Specialist arranging the repossession of collateral; perform any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.

Loan Specialist

This individual is responsible for satisfying members’ consumer loan needs in the following areas while meeting individual, department and organization goals: ensure quality control by verifying all loan application information and all loan conditions are complete. Validate all required underwriting documentation needed to fund the loan has been received from the member and/or branch employee for loan packet (i.e. proof of income, proof of insurance, rental agreements, etc); contact members and receive phone calls from members when necessary with questions regarding their loan to insure loans are set up correctly and all underwriting conditions have been met; obtain the necessary information from the member or branch employee regarding the parameters of the closing loan, i.e. due date, payment method, etc; prepare all loan documents to be provided to the branches for loan funding; to include Auto, Motorcycle/ATV, RV, Watercraft, Signature, Credit Cards, Line of Credit and Share/Certificate loans. Additional forms include Disbursement Worksheet, Relationship Pricing Addendum, Title Work, etc; submit loan documents to the branch via e-mail for signatures. Once signed/funded and received back from branch, prepare loan packet to be sent for audit; process Credit Card Request Forms to be sent to the Card Specialist for card order when credit card application is approved; assist Central Lending Underwriters in processing audit packets through logging and documentation; audit Share and Certificate loans for accuracy on the system, documents signed and findings reported in audit spreadsheet; scan all documentation into the optical system that is processed through the Central Lending department; to include audited loan packets, skip-a-pay forms, maintenance forms, etc; validate loan documents have been scanned and indexed correctly; complete all title work for submission to Title Specialist. Maintain title pending folder for receipt of original signatures required to process title work; complete Skip-A-Pay requests received by mail to insure appropriate due date is applied and fee is received; process loan workouts and loan maintenance requests from the Collection department; communicate timely with the branches for loan requests, closings and fundings; act as liaison to the outside vendors (dealerships) Lending Staff; process and input of all Indirect loans approved with CUDL, CRIF and Vanguard; prepare the log in register of indirect loan requests and the input of that information into a PC; assure all required information is accurate and all documents are received before funding all indirect loans from dealerships; complete all training as assigned; perform any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.

Desired Job Experience

A high school graduate, equivalent or qualifying experience in the processing of consumer loans. Preferred working knowledge of Windows OS, Word, Excel and loan origination software.
