Honestly, I don't see them staying in business in 5-10 years UNLESS they do a complete retraining and restructuring of the entire company. I'd also recommend contracting with a different card services vendor -- I'd honestly rather struggle with a language barrier than deal with such deficient customer service.
Customer service has been consistently, on more than one occasion, unsatisfactory and as a result, I will be closing my accounts. I'm willing to take the credit score hit and close my visa as opposed to being subjected to such basic service.
If you're looking for a quality credit union, please do yourself a favor and pass this one by. They're not even ranked in the top 10 credit unions. I should have taken a hint when I found that out. It's truly unfortunate.

Biggest hassle just trying to pay a credit card bill by phone. All other companies have an easy automated system. I have trouble talking and approved my son to talk for me after identifying myself but can't speak well enough to provide home phone number. Worst customer service of any bank ever

- Non-predatory business practices
- Good loan rates
- Good/friendly service
- very limited locations, limited hours (9-5 M-F).
- No home loans
- Tends to change online service without consultation or warning (need to get into your account?, download this new app! Can't right now? Oh well!)
- No in-person tellers: now all transactions, even at branch locations, are through video phone.

Ive been with them about 2 years. Had an great start, a short period that was rocky and we are in a strong place now. I love the idea of having a small Credit Union where you can speak to the staff personally and let them know your situation and your looked at as an individual. They are able to work things out that I feel a bank would never give me a chance or opportunity to do with my income and past credit history. They are awesome! Thanks

I filed bank ruptcy and they gave me the loan I needed to start rebuilding my credit. I love their overdraft system that works like a loan as well it is also building my credit.I have never had a bad experience with them ever. I love that you can use other ARMs and not get charged.

Oh, I long for the old days of SECUWA- that organization was great and functioned effectively and the people were incredible and awesome! I, too. am going to move my account to a different credit union. Setting up monthly money transfers to a different credit union for my daughter now has become nearly impossible and very unhandy. This will be the last of SEVERAL issues with their online banking that have taken up much of my time and been a hassle. Approximately 50 yr of being a loyal customer- now lost.

They messed up on my car loan. Then, when I went to apply for a 0 interest for one year credit card, they refused me even though I had a very high credit score - they did so to be petty. Don't deal with these people.

It doesn't even add up to a 1. I am so unhappy with Inspirus. How did they come up with that name anyway? But the online banking really needs to be redone.

I have to agree with the other reviews. I live close to downtown Seattle, and I really don't like having to pay parking when I go to the Salal Credit Union on Westlake, which is an ultra busy street, and the parking is expensive. Also, I can't really do any serious banking (other that cash checks). I'm a senior, and really like talking 'face to face' with someone when I have more complicated questions.
I probably will be changing banks in the future.

I have been extremely pleased with Inspirus, (except for the name change). I don't get charged fees and get free checks. I get prompt service when I call for help. When I bought a car, I got loan approval over the phone within minutes. I live an hour from Seattle and never thought I would use a bank that isn't local but with credit union ATMs and mobile deposit, I don't need a local bank. I don't pay Inspirus to use my money---it pays me and the interest rate is competitive. I highly recommend Inspirus.

I too am very disappointed with this website and Inspirus as a whole. SECUWA was fantastic! You got a real person when you called. They were friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make your banking experience a positive pleasant one. Inspirus is just the opposite. There are long wait times, the website is hard to maneuver and its' very difficult to keep my accounts straight when the nicknames option was deleted when they took over from SECUWA. This place has terrible customer service, the VISA cards look like motel room keys and it just has an all around cheap and automated feel to the entire site. I did all my banking with SECUWA and purchased all my vehicles through them. My family had accounts and loans through them and since Inspirus took over, we've all been very unhappy and put out by the new company. If I had a way to take my money out of this credit union, I would.

They changed their online format and it is terrible. I cannot access the notices they send.
The phone service super bad. They have customers wait on the phone for a super long time before a rep comes on.

I have to agree with other reviewers. I used this bank as SECU for years, then with the switch came the worst online banking experiences I've ever had. One tiny error in logging in and you're locked out. Fixing it is worse than just not using it. I have several other banks with which I work online and this is by far the worst.

I thought I was giving a rating of zero but it came out a one.
I used School Employees Cr Union for years without a problem. Now as Inspirus, I can't even get in to balance my check book. I gave up the hassel and changed to Solority.

It is hard to deal with this credit union, to deal with them online is almost impossible, they lock up the access to the account at the slightest error, and then it takes a long time to get back on track, calling them, etc. I am thinking of moving my business to Key Bank, where my major accounts are. My patience has worn thin. Also, their location is inconvenient, it used to be in Seattle, now they are in Lynwood and Burien.

So far I've had three encounters with inspirus with paying off cars and titles that kind of stuff and so far I am not impressed. It's been costly for me because of their mistakes but they won't pay for their mistakes but they did let me know that they'll bring it up at the next meeting and correct their problems. I have not changed my account over to them because I wanted to see how well they did with online banking. Things have to change if you want people to trust you.

After 32 years at this CU I am going to move to where they can correct mistakes easily. I just had strike 3 when they refused to correct a 1099 form that should have been for the previous tax year and since I filed the income for that year I now have to pay someone to repair the damage. The response was to call IRS and talk to them. (BS!) This isn't the only time they have made mistakes with our finances but for darn sure the last.
